In a comment by Tom Rolseth on his current question, he asked the general question that - quite surprisingly - seems to be not answered here:
Can I upload file attachements, e.g. query plans?
If so, how is it done, and are there any restrictions?
The FAQ explains how to upload images. However, I'm not sure whether this works for images, too.
Request clarification before answering.
Stackexchange does not support file attachments - see here. The suggested method is to put your file on some other site and link to it in your question/answer.

Yes, we agree with you - being able to add attachments of arbitrary type is an important feature - and we're looking at the issue.
Follow-up note: SQLA2 supports attachments of arbitrary content so you can upload your query plans, sample code, etc. directly on this site.
