How do I update a Report Template in the Repository?

I want to make some changes to a report template that I previously uploaded to the Library folder of the repository. I keep getting errors no matter what method I try. The Check-in dialog refuses to recognize the file as an update and shows status as New in the Check-in dialog. If I hit OK, then it refused to check-in because there is already a template by that name..which, of course, there is.

My last resort will be to delete the template from the repository and start over. Any suggested alternatives to that?

Root of the issue seems to be PD is not able to write to the Resource Files folder.

e.g. Error message is Checking out the document 'PDM Report with SPs NEW.rtp' - Error: Cannot open the local document 'C:\Users\<username>\Documents\PowerDesigner Libraries\Resources\Report Templates\PDM Report with SPs NEW.rtp' for writing.

YES your are correct. Make sure the folder which stores Powerdesigner file has proper right.

The easiest way is starting Powerdesigner using admin right.
