How do I create calculated columns during data import in the New Model Type in SAC Analytics Cloud?

Hi community,

I am trying to transform data during the import into the new model type in SAP Analytics Cloud. In contrast to the classic account model there is no calculated column functionality (see snip) or at least not where I expected it to be.

The requirement is quite simple. Copy one column and switching the signs. As I said I would like to include this step in the upload process rather than creating a calculated dimension/measure in story or model later. Any ideas how to achieve this?

Hi Lennart,

In the Prepare Data step you can just toggle on the Custom Expression Editor (toobar button), and then type your formula, where the left portion of the formula (in square brackets) will represent the name of the new calculated column you would like to see. When you enable the Expression Editor the context help should provide some examples to follow.
