Hi Tobias,

Currently the 'add member' or 'insert row' will always go below, not above.

Thanks for the info, that's sad.

There is a little trick via the styling panel where you can add a custom row or column also on top/left via the + button:

Thanks for that information but that's unfortunately not what I am looking for. I want to add a row at the red marked position.

In Analysis for Excel it is possible to add a row above but in SAC unfortunately not.

Hi Tobias,

agree on that position it is not possible. For the table calculations you could use it is currently not possible to move them to first row. Is in the backlog, but currently no priority due to other topics.

It is not possible with "standard functions" because those only insert "below", as already said.

But there is a trick around:

you could use the Cross Calculations ( depending if your Measures are in rows or columns) for example if your Measures are in rows, then use Story Calculations.

Steps:

1. Insert a "Dummy Caluculation", for example CM_DUMMY - with Calculation   Formula :  0. (e.g. from Cross Calculations, Restricted Measure, whatever) - arrange the sort order of the new measure (it goes to bottom when you create it, change it to first place in sort order)

2. enter an empty row below the Dummy Measure / Dimension (probably Single)

3. Hide the Dummy Measure again. the empty row stays

4. Rename / Categorize use the new row.
