Hello,
My issue is that I have two dimensional tables: Project and Costs. Each project has one or multiple cost codes.
Project
| Pr_nr | attributes |
| 001 | x |
| 002 | xx |
| 003 | xxx |
and Cost
| Pr_nr | Cost_Code | Dep | Budget |
| 001 | A | FI | 10000 |
| 001 | B | CO | 5000 |
| 002 | B | FI | 8000 |
My problem is that some attributes can only be identified by the combined key of Cost_Code and Pr_nr. I am a beginner in this field, so my expertise is limited. I considered merging the dimensions and using the combined key as the identifier, but my problem still stands. Due to the combined key, I need to build a parent-child hierarchy.
Any help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Marco

Hi Marco,
I was struggling with Cost Element and Company Code. Did not find a solution. The Hierarchy with Directory worked, however I was unable to assign two fields as leafs for the hierarchy self. Means DSP allows only one field to be assigned as a LEAF (lowest level of the hierarchy). Workaround was to concat the compounding key, what did not look nice ... User has to choose the Company Code first, to get the allowed hierarchies.
Cheers,
Martin
