1. How can we identify whether DI has been installed already ?

2. How can we know which type of template has been applied from template installer?

Try to findout it from Tcode RZ03, you will get a list of availalbe DI.

2. How can we know which type of template has been applied from template installer?

You can get the installation log files if you have.
