How can I run a report in Report Center to track changes in desired fields (FO or custom)

Hello everyone,

I’d like to build a report in Report Center that shows only the changes to specific fields, for example an employee’s Business Unit or Department. I do not want to list all job information transactions (every effective-dated change). Ideally, my table would look like this:

Questions:

  • Is there a way to configure this in Table (Ad Hoc) Reports, Advanced Reporting, or People Analytics so that only changes to the selected field are displayed? 
  • If the answer is YES - will I be able to replicate this behavior when pulling data via the API?

Currently, I`m pulling the data from the the Global Job Info, I selected in Date Options "Show All" and of course, I`m getting ALL TIME transactions, so something like the below... This is because the rows in red correspond to a different event.
