Hi,
How can a revert back to an old version of a universe without losing my universe's CUID? Also, wanted to know if there is a way to create a report to check changes with out exporting the universe to CMC ?
Many Thanks!

Hi
which version of BOBJ do you use?
You can use one of the full clients (DeskI or ebI Rich client) in order to check your changes on a local copy of the universe.

To clarify things, if you have LifeCycleManager also called LCM and use versioning, you can revert changes.
Howver, if you edit a report in a higher patch level then go back to a previous patch level you may face unexpected behavior like sudden crash, document corruption that in the worst cases manifests after a long time.
Therefore the best practices are to use LCM and/or perform systematic backups plus exceptional backups when major changes occur.
