How can I link to a Success Factors function that appears in an overlay visually?

Success Factors employee central has a number of features that appear as overlays to the home page, rather than separate pages with unique URLs. An example (on our instance) is the delegate function, a simple workflow that opens as a overlay over the home screen (see attached pic) when the delegate tile is selected.

I want to deep link to the delegate function from a Work Zone page giving guidance around the delegate function. How can I do this?

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your quick reply.

1. Regarding the query - Which SF functions should be accessible via deep links and which shouldn't?

I would recommend creating a post here: SAP Community >> SAP SuccessFactors Platform. The deep link topic is owned by the Platform team, and they may be able to provide more professional advice and support.

2. Additionally, I noticed that most of your other queries are related to SuccessFactors Work Zone. I am from the Employee Central team and have limited knowledge of Work Zone, so I regret to inform you that I may not be able to offer much support in that area. Thank you for understanding.

Best regards,

Hannah

Dear Customer, Thank you for reaching out. This is Hannah from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Team. Please refer to the handbook: Using Deep Links >> List of SAP SuccessFactors Deep Links to see which links are available. (https://help.sap.com/docs/successfactors-platform/using-deep-links/list-of-sap-successfactors-deep-l...) Unfortunately, there are no deep links or URLs available for "Delegate My Workflows." You may also find the KBA for your reference: 2493928 - SAP SuccessFactors Deep Link Guide - User Assistance Documentation Link. (https://me.sap.com/notes/2493928/E) Thank you. Hannah

Thanks Hannah. I am familiar with the deep links documentation you provided but I appreciate the link.

So in summary it's completely arbitrary which SF functions can be deep linked to.

Can you tell me what the decision making process was around which SF functions should be accessible via deep links and which shouldn't? It seems pretty random to me.

It leaves me me as an architect of the system unable to provide a consistent experience to my users, and that is completely unacceptable. I'd appreciate an explanation of why this has to be the case.

Thanks

Also, it would be great if you could take a look at my other questions Hannah. None of which have had any replies
