Hierarchy Dimension Filter Sorting not working (DS1.5)

Hi Experts

Can somebody out there verify whether sorting function is working on Hierarchies inside a Dimension Filter, Design Studio 1.5?

I am interested in Design Studio 1.6 results too.

Define a SAP BW Query data source with BW Hierarchy in the result set or as free characteristic. Then define a Dimension Filter component on the Hierarchy Dimension. Finally try to apply any sorting when selecting members of the hierarchy in the Dimension Filter.

You may need to to right click on the Header Label (Text/Key) as the usual sorting icon is missing too.

I cannot get any sorting (ascending/descending) to be applied.

It works fine for any other dimension as long is not a Hierarchy. Sorting icon shows up and works fine.

Hi Carlos - it works fine in 1.6 - see below:

I don't have a machine with 1.5 to try this...is 1.6 something you can try this on?

Thanks for your reply Tammy. Don't have access to 1.6 yet. Definitely this a good reason to accelerate the upgrade to 1.6 .

Did you have to right-click on the header (Text/Key) or just regular left-click does the trick?

Thanks Tammy. We are planning to use this one on iPads. So I guess we may need to deal with SAP Support directly or find a work around.
