Hide Design View in Lumira Discovery

We recently upgraded to Lumira Discovery 2.1, and have launched reports to users.

When users view reports on BI platform, they can access DesignView by selecting a button on the top right corner. Is it possible to prevent certain users from accessing Design View? I know webi has a similar design view / reading view setup, and you can hide design view from end users, and am assuming there's a similar option here....

good point. I have same challenge as well. On Webi this is in access levels available. But not seen yet that on Lumira Discovery on the BI Platform.

Hi Cengiz,

I spoke to SAP support and they showed me the solution:

In CMC, select the folder containing reports OR the specific report for which you want to hide design view. Right click > User Security > Select group you want to change security > Assign Security > Advanced > Add/Remove Rights > Content > Lumx Document > Deny Edit objects right
