Hi, we have a Classic opex model with legal entity, profit center, cost center and wbs.

We need to validate input at cost center level by controlling legal entity and profit center with a validation based in cost center and in parallel to validate input at wbs level by controlling legal entity and profit center with a validation based on wbs. Let’s say: respecting classi sap data model. The problem is that sac do not accept two rules to validate legal entity and profit center . How can sac support opex planning avoiding user to input wrong combinations? Create dedicated separated models is not one Solution because we need total opex in one single place.

Hi William, in a Classic sap centric model, opex could be by cost center or wbs. Legal entity and profit center are “derived” / “validated” based on the masterdata. In a layout that Expose cost center as key dimension, legal entity and profit center must be consistendo with the corresponding cost center masterdata attribuite. In a separate layout, wbs is the key dimension and here is the wbs masterdata that guide the consistency of legal entity and profit center. Once planned the data, total opex are then consistent agenda looking legal entity or/and profit center.
