Help Needed:Function Module for Creating Work Center with Person/Position Assignment (IR01) W/o BDCs

Hi Community,

We are currently working on automating the creation of Work Centers using transaction IR01 in SAP. As part of this process, we also need to assign Persons or Positions (HR objects) to the Work Center.

Instead of using BDC (Batch Data Communication), we are looking for a function module or BAPI that can handle both the creation of the Work Center and the assignment of Persons/Positions to it in a clean and reliable way.

Has anyone implemented this kind of functionality before? If so, could you please share:

• The function module(s) or BAPI(s) used

• Any prerequisites or tips to be aware of

• How the assignment to HR objects (Persons/Positions) was handled
