Having problem on sp5 installation

Hello

I'm having problem on installing 2008 sp5.

Crystal Reports 2008 SP5 Setup Error

another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue.

To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/remove Programs on Control Panel.

I have 2008 sp4 (12.4.0.966) Windows 7 sp1

VS 2008 & VS 2010 with SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 installed.

Hi Umut,

Crystal Reports 2008 SP5 is available as a Full Build software and as an incremental upgrade too.

It looks like you've downloaded the Full Build which requires that the current version be un-unistalled. This package is around 502MB whereas the incremental patch is around 338MB. Which one do you have?

I have the full I think according the size you mentioned.

Where is the incremental patch?

Hi Umut,

Once you log-in to the Service Market Place, follow the "Software Downloads > Support Packages and Patches > Browse our Download Catalog >" path and it should take you to the Patch downloads.

Should I uninstall all the sp's, fix packs and the program itself ?

Then install the fresh from sp5?

Yes, you need to un-install the program. That will remove the patches too.
