Hard stop configuration in Charm to prevent change owners approving their own changes.

Hello All,

How can we configure hard stops in SAP Solman Charm for change owners, so that they cannot approve their own changes. Any blogs or guidance will be highly appreciated. Currently I have tried with below config, But it seems to be not working.

Would be nice to see the Partner Assignment Block.

In theory the customizing seems correct. At status change to E0009 you save the active user as SMCD0002 = Tester and at status change to E0016 you save the active user as SMRE0001 Release Manager and check if the same user is also SMCD0002.

Only two ideas:

1. Please check the "Define Execution Time of Action" and look if the action E0016 10 SAVE_PARTNER is declared there as "1 - Execute After Check"; if yes, then the check comes too early.
2. Check the partner determination procedure if it has the partner function SMRE0001 and if it is changeable; the standard SMMJ does not have this partner function.

If not, you may debug function module SOCM_CRM_PA_CHECK_PARTNER and see what happens. The debugger is your friend 🙂

Please check the "Define Execution Time of Action" and look if the action E0016 10 SAVE_PARTNER is declared there as "1 - Execute After Check"; if yes, then the check comes too early. is already maintained but whenever charm status is reaching E0016, i.e prod import requested it is giving error Too many Application Responsible entered; remove an entry.

For this error charm status is not moving further.
