Handling bulk EDI documents from trading partners.

Hello All

I have a requirement where in our partner currently sends invoices (810) in EDI X12 format. These invoices come in bulk, meaning several invoices are bundled together in one single EDI file. Our current B2B system has the capability to split them and convert them into individual IDOC's. Can I achieve this using BTP (Cloud Integration). After some searching, I came across the documentation for EDI splitter. Can EDI splitter be the solution to accomplish this use case. Can this be used to handle incoming invoices in bulk. 

Have anyone tried this scenario using the BTP cloud integration. Please share your thoughts.
