HANA 2.0 on RHEL

Hello,

I've a question regarding HANA 2.0 SP 44 REV 44.

Note 2235581 and the attachment SAP_HANA_OS_Release_Support_Matrix.pdf states that RHEL 8 (x86_64) is supported since REV 40 and higher, also RHEL 7.6 seams to be supported with SP04. But the HANA mini check tells us that our OS (7.6) is not supported.

Does this mean we HAVE to use RHEL 8 with HANA SP04 and REV 44? Is RHEL 7.6 not supported in this case?

The note says

• RHEL for SAP Solutions / RHEL for SAP HANA 7 - consult SAP Note 2292690 for recommended OS settings
  • 7.6 (HANA 2.0 SPS03 revision 36 and newer) --> is this just for Revisions within SPS03 ?

Even we are planning for upgrade what best option even I have same bought like ...Hana 2.0 sps04 on 7.6 or we need 8.0/8

.1 RHEL supports any answers appreciated thank you very much
