Guided Sourcing RFP - Item Need quotes

Dear Experts,

We are trying to setup guided sourcing RFP template and don't want the Item/lot to be mandatory while publishing the event. 

As per note KB0395605 I have set the bidding rule option 'Must participants improve their bids' to No. But still while publishing the event system prompts to enter items/lots.

Is there another setting that we need to check.

We were able to do this in RFP sourcing template but not working

Hi Samresh, kindly note that an entry in this Section is mandatory when the event rule - "ENABLE MULTIROUND BIDDING" is selected. You can find this rule in the "Event Settings" > "Set Event rules". in the RFP event navigate to top right corner to see the 3 dots to find the settings. Once you unselect, "Enable multi-round bidding" you would be able to publish the event without any item in this section.
