Hi there,
We have created a SAC analytic application that has tab strip, and with-in a tab of the tab strips, we have further tab strip and the tabs show numeric charts ( KPI cards).
Now, when we run the analytic application in chrome browser, we see the navigation b/w different tabs are very slow and every time we click on a tab, it shows - Page Unresponsive as well. PFA.
I have checked the same error and many of the blogs talk to decrease the java version on the machine.
Please help.
Hi Aditya,
As I mentioned before the size of your application and the number of widgets are hugely impacting the performance and user experience. Is a business user always willing to wait over 3 minutes for an application to load when they only want to check couple of KPI values?
Are the GetResponse call all OPTIONS calls?
Kind regards,

Ideally no business user is willing/ or will wait for 3 mins. and we have now split the application but still we are facing these issue.
Hi Aditya,
I believe this is caused by the fact that the application just takes too long to load. The browser is waiting for a response and asks you if you want to wait because it things the web page has become unresponsive. Use the network tab to detect which request is taking up all the time.

Thanks Martjin,
Yes, I used the network tab and my observations are -
A. The request that takes a good amount of time is - contentcontentlib.pnglib. It has taken almost 2.3 mins. screenshot attached.
On the expansion of this service, it shows all the SAC models (import data connection) that are present or not.
There are many models which were there earlier and to make the application slim & trim, were deleted.
I have again rechecked the whole application and there is no chart etc. which are assigned to these deleted data sources.
B. There are so many GetResposnse ( I thought these are OK but on opening them, they do not show anything. They are empty) getresponse.png
Let me know, your thoughts on the same.
Hi Aditya
issue looks to be very strange. please reach out to SAP support team. They are the right one to contact for issue resolution

Hi Aditya
This is surely not Java related.
You can check with below 2 workaround
1) Check your Internet network speed
2)What is the total no of records loaded in your Model and trying display the same in the story
if so make sure you come up with date related prompts

My comments -
1)Check your Internet network speed
Download – 40 mpbs
Upload – 8 mpbs
2)What is the total no of records loaded in your Model and trying display the same in the story
On general, we are using around 20 models to display the KPIs under numeric chart.
These models have only 1 row and column no. may exceed 10 for some models and not all.
i'm not sure how java version would be in play here as SAC interface doesn't use it....
this could be the memory on your machine or network issue between your browser and SAC server...
