Global "404 Not Found" Error During "Establish Trust" on All New BTP Trial Accounts (US &EU) Regions

"Hello Community,

I am reporting a persistent and reproducible error that is preventing the setup and use of all new SAP BTP trial accounts.

The Issue: The automated 'Establish Trust' process fails consistently with a '404 Not Found' error, which prevents the subscription of key services like SAP Build that require an OIDC trust.

Critical Evidence:

  • This is a global issue, not regional. I have provisioned separate, new trial accounts in both the US and European regions. The exact same error occurs on both, proving a systemic failure.

  • Error Message: (404 Not Found: "{"error":"Error during communication with IAS. Error was: 404 Not Found: \"{\"details\":[],\"error\":{\"code\":404,\"message\":\"<html><head><title>404 Not Found<\\/title><\\/head><body><br>404 Not Found - You did not enter a valid URL.<\\/br><\\/body><\\/html>\",\"target\":\"/tenant/registry\"}}\". Standard troubleshooting (cache clearing, multiple browsers, retries) is ineffective as the root cause is at the platform level. This is likely affecting all new trial users worldwide.

Yes, this is a current issue, and we're aware of it. "Luckily" it "only" affects trial accounts and not productive ones, but that doesn't help trial users, of course.

Development is on it and will fix it asap.

The issue has been resolved now, and trust setup in trial accounts works again.

Yes, we're aware of this issue. "Luckily" it "only" affects trial accounts and not productive ones, but that doesn't help trial users, of course.

Development is looking into the root cause and will then fix it asap.
