Generic extractor

Hello Experts,

Heres the situation:

I created a Generic Extractor in the source system (a BW system), and have activated it, it was assigned to the 'BW' application component.

Now when i come to my target BW system (yes, the source and the target are BW systems each), and go to the same application component and 'Replicate Metadata', I donot find my datasource listed.

Could you please help..?

Hi ,

Please check if your data source is appearing in RSA6.transport it from there ( activate it ), replicate it in BW

Hello Vikram,

My extractor is visible in rsa6 and thus active in the source. Now, it was collectd in a task, and the task was released (only the task not the transport request) as well... does that have something to do with the fact that i cannot see it in the target BW system, after replication...??
