Hi everyone,
I created a simulation that includes a book page with text, followed by recorded snapshots.
It looks great in the Library, but when I generate the Hands-on Guide, the book page is moved into a table.
I need the book page to create a standalone page with text in the Hands-on Guide, not a table.
Is there a way to define this?
I have reviewed the Resources > Documentation Settings area in Producer, but I haven't been able to succeed.
Could you help me please?
Thank you so much.
Heli

Hi Heli,
The structure of the Hands on Guide template does put content into a table. That table contains instructions in the left column and screenshots in the right column. It is not possible to change the structure of the standard documentation, however, you could try other documentation styles to see if something fits your needs.
If I were trying to deliver something similar to your requirement I would try:
1. Adding the text that had to appear outside the table to the Description field of the Simulation and modifying the Documentation Settings to generate the Simulation Description before the Simulation Contents. This would also mean turn off the Show in Documentation field for the Book Page inside the Simulation - the Documentation section of Properties
2. Using Documentation macros, e.g. the Description macro, to capture the text that had to be added to the documentation. If you insert the text into a Documentation macro, such as the Description macro, and turn it on for the Hands on Guide documentation format, the contents of the macro will be generated into Hands On Guide documents at the point in the Simulation where the macro is located
The following image shows a Description Documentation macro embedded into a Simulation and the second image shows the results of the macro in the Hands On Guide:
