Hi, I have a general question-How does this work:

<b><form method="post" action="<portlet:actionURL/>"></b>

Where is <b>portlet:actionURL</b> pointing to? is it in the portal.xml file?

Thanks so much,

Baggett

Hi Baggett,

where do you have this fragment from? The portlet-actionURL-Tag comes from a portlet tag library, I don't think that this is part of some SAP stuff, is it?!

Hope it helps

Hi Detlev, no this is coming from an article about jsr-168 specification, I was just wondering if anyone was familiar with it.

I was just wondering where this form action is pointing to?

Thanks for your comment,

Baggett

Hi Bagget,

if it's not this article: http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/portalserver/reference/techart/jsr168/pb_whitepaper.pdf - maybe you can have a look at it.

In the end, it's just a helper tag which gives control of the form target to the portal framework. You can compare it to the htmlb form tag, which is a bit more "outer".

For EP6 does not implement JSR168, you cannot use it on SAP's portal.

Hope it helps
