Hi,
We are facing problem regarding a Russian SAPScript. Some changes in the alignment had been asked by the client and the changes were done and moved to quality.
The Script had a proper alignment in the printout but not in the print preview. So the changes were moved to production. But the total alignment of the Script is scrambled in Production. We used the same printer what the client is using for our testing purpose of printing and print preview. We made changes like adding a box to the item window, the text we adjusted for alignment is hardcoded in the Script and is of Russian.
Can anyone suggest what could be wrong! It would be of great help.!
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Gowthami SK
Hello,
Perhaps this is simply a problem with the Sapscript buffers. You can
run the report RSTXDELL on the system to clear the Sapscript buffers.
It is a good idea to do the refresh procedures after any updates
concerning font metrics, device types etc...
To do this you can use RSTXDELL report with default settings except it
is better to have * instead of the current client number in the Client
field.
After this can you please create some new spools and the problem should
be resolved. It will not work to reprint an old spool as the contained
data is already incorrect.

David

Hi Gowthami,
I guess, the paragraph format which you are using in the Quality server is not available in production server.check the misaligned paragraph formats in SPAD ,whether that is existed or not.
