Forgot Password email not coming.

Hi experts,

Recently we upgraded the portal to 7.3.

In the updated version, we decided to use the built in 'Get Support' link for lost passwords.

Now, all the screens are coming without any errors, and the system generates new temporary password also. But due the some problem, the email with the temporary password is not coming.

Please advise.

Dear All,

The issue was very simple,

email address was maintained only for 'System' in System Admin -> UME Configuration -> Notification E-Mails -> Administrative E-Mail Addresses

Did you configured and tested the email channels/infrastructure under System Administration -> KM -> CM?

Yes Lawrence.

All the settings are in place and tested the same.

In fact, I am able to receive emails on user account creation and deletion.

Is the page containing this link custom? Did you measured your http traffic to ensure your request to appropriate component is send proper? Did you debugged the appropriate Java component in NWDS to ensure your call works?

It is not a custom the page.
