Hi,
I have Crystal Server 2011 installed. I created a public folder and assigned a group view access to that folder. However, any user that is a member of that group logs into to BI Launch Pad they can not see the folder drawer.
I have tried giving the group full control at the top level but this didn't work either but if I log in as an Admin I can see the folder drawer and the public folders.
I know it must be user privileges but I just don't know how to fix it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Pamela
Hi Pamela,
Did you ever figure this problem out? Please see the attached and let me know if this is what you are talking about and if so what you did to fix it please. I have a folder I want the person on the right to see but no matter what permissions I seem to give them shows them any folders at all. The "drawer" never shows up unlike my on the left, but mine came with folders from whoever added me to the Launchpad.

Hi,
please double check the permissions on Top- Level from the Folders. It should be sufficient if you grant the "View Objects" right without inheritance to the "Public Folder" Afterwards the users should be able to access your created Subfolder.
