FLP failed to load catalogs after system copy - what do I need to check?

Hello,

after systemcopy from testsystem to sandbox it's not possible to use Fiori.

It is possible to log in to the FLP from sandbox, but then the message appears "Failed to load catalogs".

In testsystem FLP works fine.

What adjustments are necessary after a system copy? Who has experience with this?

thanks in advance

best regards Holger

Hello @hnitsch,
It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the Fiori Launchpad (FLP) after performing a system copy from testsystem to sandbox. This is a known issue, and there are a few adjustments you might need to make: Your Texas Benefitsi

  1. Check System Aliases: Ensure that the system aliases are correctly pointing to the new sandbox system.

  2. SSO Configuration: Verify that Single Sign-On (SSO) is properly configured with the backend system.

  3. Web Dispatcher: Make sure that the new sandbox server is correctly added to the Web Dispatcher for routing requests.

  4. Post-Installation Steps: Follow the necessary post-installation steps, such as consistency checks and removing unnecessary RFC connections.

If you've already tried these steps and the issue persists, it might be helpful to reach out to SAP Support for further assistance.

Best regards,
Peter Philip

Now the Fiori Launchpad works in the sandbox after the system copy. The http trace in the browser was crucial. The error messages can be seen there. For me it was http 403 errors.

Unfortunately, there is no general procedure. After a system copy is before a system copy and you would have to create a customer-specific checklist. I would put something together.

Have you tried running this report? /UI2/DELETE_CACHE_AFTER_IMP

What do you see in the console of your debugging tools?

I have completed all the task lists related to Fiori. I currently see reference lost via transaction /UI2/FLC and the reference to SAP note 2495630.
