FireDAC Android Drivers?

With regard to XE Rad Studio-

Is there any plan to add Android (or even IOS) connectivity in Firedac?   Obviously right now we are limited to VCL.

I know we could do REST, but it would be super nice to have a truly cross platform solution.  Is that anywhere in a future plan?

This is very unlikely ... the FireDAC driver uses the underlaying ACE, which is only available as Windows DLL and Linux Shared Object. Other operating systems (even Android, which is based on Linux) would require a huge development.

Sybase/SAP developed the Web Platform to support mobile environments (via HTTPS JSON).
