Fire live change/ change when number of digits in input are not fixed in sapui5

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement where I have a input field and on change or live change I need to fire a event the split up whatever entered in the input field and perform some functionality. But here the problem I am facing is that I do not have the fixed number of digits/characters to be entered on the input field to fire live change and user is not willing to press ok or fire change anyways.

Can someone please suggest me any solutions for this problem.

Your question seems a bit blurry... Can you please elaborate more clearly what is the requirement ?

You need to implement some logic for an input field... what exactly are the constraints then?

Hi Radoslaw,

The requirement is that we will be scanning barcode in the input filed via wifi handheld scanned. What it does is it pastes one digit at a time in this input filed. so the user wants is that when the scan is done then the scanned number which does not contains any fixed number of digits to be checked from odata service and matched.

But as digits are not fixed I am not able to get when to fire an event.
