We are currently working on enabling the SAP application for external access. However, we have encountered an issue with SAML integration when using the external Fiori URL.
The integration functions works fine with the internal SAP URL, where all traffic routes through the VPC. For example, the internal URL is https://hostname:XXXXX/sap/saml2/sp/acs/210.
When using the external Fiori URL (for users not connected to our VPC), I encounter an issue post-authentication. The SAP page displays the message, "Our service is not available at the moment. Please try again later." I suspect the load balancer is not correctly transferring information to the SAP application server
Do we need open port externally for SAP application server? how is the load balancer handles the SAML request? Appreciate your thoughts
