Fiori Elements. Variant Management different when running from URL vs running from Launchpad

Hi gurus, 

I'm facing an issue that is driving me crazy. Have developed an analytical App using Fiori Elements, and set SmartVariant = false in the manifest.json, as I want different variant management options for filter and result sections.

So, when I run the application using the URL (Or by executing index.hmtl in SE80), everything looks fine and I see the separated variant management options:

However, when I execute the tile from the Launchpad, there is only one:

I have no idea what is causing this. Do you have any clue?
