Hello Experts,

I am facing below error while deploying via WebIDE.

12:27:08 PM (Application Index) Error - Failed to delete descriptor of application ZRPTANLRVW from layered repository
12:27:08 PM (Application Index) Error - Descriptor or variant edu.msu.hr.rpt.zrptannualreview2 is still referenced by changes e.g. apps/edu.msu.hr.rpt.zrptannualreview2/changes/id_1650700233347_254_page.change
12:27:08 PM (Application Index) Information - All change files(0) written to LRep

I was able to fix my issue by using the t-code 'SUI_SUPPORT' in client 000.

We are experiencing the same problem and also get the error message "Failed to delete descriptor of application XYZ from layered repository". How does transaction SUI_SUPPORT help, which steps need to be taken?

We resolved the issue with executing the following tools from SUI_SUPPORT: - Calculation of SAPUI5 Application Index - Update Caching of OData Metadata - Delete cached OData Metadata - Repair App Index Error Flag But it is probably sufficient to recalculate the app index (/UI5/APP_INDEX_RECALCULATE) to solve the problem.

Can you write details about process of SUI_SUPPORT? How is your solution? How did you fixed deleted objects?
