fiori app Technical name in drop down list

We need to enable Fiori Apps to show technical names in drop down lists. Is there any user menu to do so or is it a basic setting we have to do?

I guess you mean the setting that is available in SAP GUI and also for the SAP CRM Web UI. By changing a central setting all drop-down lists show in addition to the description also the technical key. I doubt that Fiori does support that. Perhaps jocelyn.dart knows more.

The solution is provided in SAP note: 2723816.

Since we're using a custom theme, adding the parameters in SICF as described in the note was the solution.

Click More (Menu bar) ->GUI Actions and Settings->Settings->Visualization

(Doesn't matter which transaction you are in)

Turn on 'Show Dropdown list with keys'

We found the place to do it, it is a parameter in the web service

Hi Hans,

Unfortunately there is no such feature generally available in Fiori. What you could do is a use the translation options to override the text descriptions of your keys. Do you want this for a specific app or set of apps?
