finding patch 2 for EP 6.0 SP 2

Hi all, I have the following problem:

I have installed EP 6.0 SP 2, and the version of the portal after installation is 6.0.2.0.0.

For applying patches to J2EE and EP , i first need to install patch 2 for EP. Where can I find this patch? I looked over the documentation and it says about finding it on a CD. I couldnt find it on the sap service marketplace.

yes, I have the installation cd number 51020462 for EP, and thats how I find out from the service I need to install patches 2,3,4 and the latest.

The document from the service marketplace about applying patch 2 to EP 6.0 shows that I can take patch 2 from the installation CD no. 51020549. As I dont have this CD, I asked if I can find it in the service.

Is the first time I'm installing this version of EP 6.0 Sp2, because I have worked until now with Netweaver.

Hi,

Patch2 of EP60 SP2 is available in a CD and not in SAP Service Market place (currently).

Hi Raluca,

if you have installation cd number 51020462, then you should also have cd number 51020549 as both are delivered within the first SAP EP 6.0 installation cd package, and both CDs are NOT downloadable from service marketplace.

Only the newest installation CD number 51030419 is downloadable from service.sap.com/swdc. You will have to install the portal again, but it will include patches 2,3 and 4.

If your installation CD serial number is 51020462, you need patches 2, 3, 4, and the latest patch.

Patch 1 is not a requirement since the fixes provided in it are already included in Patch 2. It is not available for download.

So you need the named install CD and patch to patch 2 from this, the rest of the needed patches is available for download.
