Dear Experts,
I am very confused and after doing a lot of google i am still not able to find the answer to my question as below.
I know after all we have champ here and will help me out with right direction.
Q) How did hana sends data to sld ?
i know your answer would be data supplier as below.
But where i can find these data supplier in sap hana. what it is ? like in java and abap data to sld is sent via rfc & http. and how hana creates connection to sld. After how much time hana would be sending the data to sld again like in abap its 720 Minutes by default.
Also below Data supplier you can see last change value is unauthenticated, What does it mean.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi pnagar
where i can find these data supplier in sap hana. what it is ?
For SAP HANA systems, the name server contains the SLD data supplier. When you register the HANA database to SLD, you will see these entries created in nameserver.ini. Within /hana/shared/<SID>/lm_structure/landscapeDescription.xml (sample attached), the data supplier details (Example - database, client and PPMS numbers) are mentioned. Accordingly the data is collected and is transferred in XML format in a file named sldreg.xml.
how hana creates connection to sld.
HTTP(S) connection that you provide .
how much time hana would be sending the data to sld again like in abap its 720 Minutes by default.
sldreg.xml is generated at 300 sec but if there is no change in data for past 300 sec, it's not sent to SLD. If there is a change, it's sent to SLD.. After 12 hours (43200 sec), it is anyhow sent even if no change in data. Read here for details.
If you want to understand more. Login to SLD, Go to Administration --> Changes (in Content Menu)--> Search for content change in last few days --> Select Class Name HDB_Server
You can see when the data is changed and status of old and new data too. The Unauthorized User status is because it's not HTTPS setup.
Let me know if it helps your queries.

Hi Prashant,
Check whether this documentation helps:
You will see that there are wiki and SAP Help pages mentioned there, that might assist you in the clarification (I don't have the answer by heart).
Regards,
Cris
