Filtering on Account dimension not possible in a hyperlink story

Hi Experts,

I'm working on a requirement where i need to drill down to product level and display the data from one model to the other.

DM Model: i have the data at the GL account level

P&NL Model: I have the same set of data as DM model and at 1 level below ie at Product level.

DM Model and P&NL Model structures are same except that P&NL Model has Product dimension.

I created input forms 1) on DM Model which shows the data at GL account level for a selected period

2) on P&NL Model the input form shows the data at GL account + Product level for a selected period

The GL account is a common public & Account type dimension used in both the models.

I have used hyperlink functionality and linked DM Model story with P&NL Model story. The requirement is that when i select a Account in the DM Model story for a period/version, the hyper linked story must drill down and show filtered data for the selected account/period & version. When i right click and Navigate to the hyperlinked story .. it opens the P&NL Model story in a new tab but the filters that are applied are only date and version that i have selected in the story filters of DM Model story. The account that i have selected in the DM Model story is not getting passed into P&NL Model story. Is this a limitation? Please suggest.
