Filter Section : Fixed Values vs Default values. #BW4HANA #BEX

Hi Everybody,

I'm trying to filter my query but I found two panels in BW4HANA.

What is the difference between Filter Fixed Values and Filter Default values? In the older version, we are aware of selecting the Default value. But not completely sure why we have two filter panels?? In which scenario do we go with them??

I tried to filter with values on my material in default and fixed panel and I found there is not difference.

Can someone please help me on it.

Filter Fixed Values: Query is always restricted on those values.
Filter Default Values: Query is restricted by 'default values' on execution. You are able to remove/change the restriction while execution and display all/other values.
