Hello expert.
I have a very simple and common request, by the Client. Inside a Datasphere Analytical Model, I have to create a prompt to enable users to apply an optional filter on a Date Field, in such a way that the default value of this filter is the current date.
In spite of the fact that the request is quite common and apparently easy, I cannot find the way to satisfy this request, since the only default values that I can choose for a variable filter are constant (and not dynamic as in my case). The only alternative that I can think is to use an Input Parameter applied on the FACT table underlying the Analytical Model, defaulting it on a View providing the current date in its output. Is it really needed such a complication to do a very simple and common task?
Can you help me?
Thanks
Andrea
