Filter button shortcut in SmartTable column menu - removed from latest SAPUI5 version 1.133.0

Hi All

Today after the UI5 version update to 1.133.0 in BTP Launchpad, We saw the 'filter' button shortcut was removed from the SmartTable column menu in our deployed apps. Only the 'Sort By' shortcut was available. Our customer thinks it is not intuitive and needs multiple clicks just to get to a simple filter operation. They would rather want the filter button back in the column menu. I checked in SAPUI5 samples and there too it is the same after we changed the version.
Is there any way I can bring back the filter button shortcut in SmartTable column?

I agree with you, this does not improve the user experience.

Right now, they are on version 1.141.4, and it is a step backwards and unclear.

Before, two clicks were enough.

1. Column header

2. Filter

Clean and easy.

Now:

1. Column header

2. Table settings

3. Filter tab

They also keep the sorting in the menu. When users see that they can only sort, they think they cannot filter, which forces us to explain that the filters are now in the table settings.

Please, SAP, leave it as it was before.
