File to Mail interface with Dynamic file name attachment in SAP P0 7.5 single stack

Hi PI/PO Experts,

I am trying to send file attachment from FTP to Mail adapter. The filename should be same as source file. I can find lot of blogs with respect to the same requirement, but none of the blogs helps me to complete the interface successfully. I have already tried by following the below blogs. But it doesn't help. I am keep ending up with Maindocument.xml or ATT00001.XML

Also,

1. have you choosen XIPAYLOAD in protocol in channel instead of XIALL

2. checkbox use mail package

3. checkbox Keep attachment

Hi,

Where are you specifying the attachment name ?

Are you using mail package? you need to define content-disposition property to set the mail attachment name.

1. use dynamic configuration udf to get the file name from file channel

2. assign the file name from udf to content-dispositon

the wiki link is exactly what should server your requirement . can you check is your dynamic configuration udf working fine?
