Hi Satish,

The method is to as follows:

RecordsetStrucure: Node1, *

You can use following links if you have any further doubts:

/people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2006/02/27/content-conversion-the-key-field-problem

/people/venkat.donela/blog/2005/06/08/how-to-send-a-flat-file-with-various-field-lengths-and-variable-substructures-to-xi-30

Thanks and Regards,

Sanjeev.

Hi Satish...

I hope the structure mentioned by u is at the sender side.

So, I suggest u to use 'Intermediate Mapping'

With ur inputs.... the required structure (say structure1) is

<Node1>

-

<Node2>

-

<Field21></Field21>

-

<Field22></Field22>

-

</Node2>

-

<Node3>

-

<Node4>

-

<Field341></Field341>

-

</Node4>

-

-</Node3>

</Node1>

So, Create another structure (say structure2) as shown below and make it as source datatype.

<Node1>

-

<Node2>

-

<Field21/>

-

---<Field22/>

-

</Node2>

-

<Node3>

-

<Field341/>

-

</Node3>

</Node1>

I hope, u'll not feel difficulty in FCC for the above structure.

{ It's a simple structure with 2 nodes (Node2, Node3) and Node1 as Recordset.If Node1 is ur messagetype name then u can use the parameter ignoreRecordsetName: true. }

Create message mapping for Structure2 and Structure1--- say MM1

Create message mapping for Structure1 and TargetStructure--- say MM2

(Remember: Target for MM1 and Source for MM2 are same)

Create Interface mapping and in the mapping program, select two message mappings.

In the first line: select MM1

In the second line: select MM2

Hope ur issue will be resolved by this approach.

Pls let us know if u face any problem in resolving.

Rgds,

Praveen.

Hi,

The above links are provided assuming that the NODE2, Node3 & Node4 are on same level.

FCC conversion is max allowed upto level 2.

Your node4 if you are taking up as sub-node, then it will be at level 3..which can't be accomodate in FCC...if you will be using Fixedfiled length..

MsgType..............it will be at level 1

-

Node1.............it will be at level 2

-

Node2

-

Node3

-

Node4.......it will be at level 3

You can try this.....

Node3.fieldName=Node4

Node3.fieldSeparator='nl'

Node4.fieldName=XYZ

Node4.fieldSeparator='nl'

As per SAP help, see the paragraph under heading File structure

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d2/bab440c97f3716e10000000a155106/frameset.htm

That ways you could achieve.

Thanks

Swarup
