Fault mapping in synchronous scenario

Hello Experts,

I have SOAP to RFC (Non ERP to ERP) synchronous scenario. While sending a response,ERP sometime sends an exception. This results in message failure in PO as PO is not able to handle exception.

Can you guys pls let me know how to handle exception in PO ?
