FAIL: process hdbdaemon HDB Daemon not running

Hi,

We have HANA 2.0 running on 2 node cluster (Pacemaker).. 

The HANA database on node 2 is down and when i try to start it, it gives me below error 

FAIL: process hdbdaemon HDB Daemon not running

I tried many solutions like removing the locks files, changing the permission etc.. but it didnt resovle

Please suggest

have you checked the trace log of service daemon

Dear @BilalBhat,

HANA DB startup failure can occur due to various reasons. Please review the following SAP notes for known issues:
- 2840766 - Failed to start due to an error "FAIL: process hdbdaemon HDB Daemon not running"
- 2944543 - HANA instance failed to startup due to error "can't listen on port 127.0.0.1:30003"
- 2953430 - HANA database failed to start with error "FAIL: process hdbdaemon HDB Daemon not running" due to Disk Full in /hana/shared
- 3616754 - SAP HANA database cannot be started. Error message: FAIL: process hdbdaemon hdb daemon not running

If none of these notes resolve the issue, please collect the HANA full-system-info-dump from both SYSTEMDB and the tenant DB as per KBA 1732157 for further analysis.
