F4 Help in BEx query selection - running on CDS View

Hi,

We have created a CDS view with field cast ( custom data element with custom search help)to get custom search help.

eg:

cast ( node as <data element>) as new_node

Its working as expected , when we check SQL view contents from SE11/SE16. But when we create a Bex Variable on same field, Search help is not appearing in selection screen while running in Analysis for Office (AO)/RSRT.

Are we missing something?

Thanks for the links.

Cast with data element ( custom search help) is not working.

Its working with following annotations.

@Consumption.valueHelp: ''

@ObjectModel.foreignKey.association:''

@Search.defaultSearchElement: true
