Dear all my friends

Im loadind data from oracle views by using DB connect.

When i assign the datasource to Infosource then the 'Infoobjetcs'of the infosource in transfer rules are not mapping to source fields automatically.

So i need to give all 'Infoobjects' in transfer rules manually or all of them(infoobjects) comes automatically in the transfer rules of Infosource

pls tell me

i ll assign the points

Dear Mohammed,

That's how it works with non-SAP datasources and with flat files.

I had to enter all fields in communication structure manually and then did mapping in the transfer rules.

hope this makes you feel comfortable...

Thanks,

Raj

Hi Mohammed,

You just need to manually enter all the Infoobjects in the communication structure.

After this, you should manually map each Infoobject one by one in the Transfer Rule.

get back to me if u need any further details...

me on the same boat..:)

      • assign points if useful ***

Thanks,

hi Rizwan,

system do mapping by searching same name or data element,

i think your oracle fields name may not same as infoobject's, so need manual assignment. even r/3 datasource not all fields mapped automatically and

sometime wrongly map, still need manual checking.

hope this helps.
