Extract/load the data from/to file which located in ECM ( Enterprise content management system)

Hi ,

Client don't want to maintain the file server for input files ( excel files/text files) and output files ( load files) should be in the Open text ECM ( enterprise content management) systems. How can we read the file from ECM systems and write the file to ECM.

Does SAP DS support to connect ECM and read the file or not?

You can use a Custom Transfer Program (or a File Location) to make the files available to DS.

See section 2.2.11.7 Custom Transfer options in the SAP Data Services Reference Guide for more details.
