Extended notification and NWBC inbox

Hi,

Currently we can configure Workflow Inbox link to SAP Workflow Inbox for GUI or HTML (SBWP),

is there any way our to configure that link to take us directly to NWBC Workflow Inbox?

Hi Niketan, Do you mean the Inbox Link in Extended Notifications that's picked up using the Subscription Parameter setting SHOW_INBOX_AS? It's not provided in standard - although that would be an excellent thing you could ask for in the Customer Improvement portal https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/community/influence

It should be possible by enhancing the standard class CL_SWN_NOTIF_WORKFLOW similar to how SAPGUI for Windows attachments are handled I would think?

Thanks for reply,  Yes exactly i meant inbox link in extended notification than picked up using SHOW_INBOX_AS..there are three options

HTTP Link that Starts SAP GUI for HTML

HTTP Link that Starts SAP GUI for Windows

Executable Attachment that Starts SAP GUI for Windows

but it does not have option of NWBC Workflow Inbox.

Sure I will update influence portal for this option.

Btw , we could do something enhancing SWN_MESSAGE1 BSP application.

we inserted link which points to NWBC inbox URL.

and then we configured Msssage template using new BSP-URL.

Do you see any issue in above?

we will look into your suggestion of enhancing standard class as well.

Hi Niketan,

Using the BSP message template is certainly an option, but in that case I would advise copying it into the customer namespace, making your changes there and then replacing the standard message template with your new version in SWNCONFIG.  Unless that is what you meant anyway?

yes Jocelyn , exactly thats what we did. (replacing message template with our version in SWNConfig).
