Extend Datasphere Business content package.

Hello,
In BW you could make a copy of the Business content to extend it with more fields.
In the case of SAP Datasphere, what would be the recommendation? If we want to use the Sales package of the Business content, what would be the best practice to extend it?
I understand that if we extend the contents of the package directly, we would lose the changes in the case of a new import, right?

Hi @RaulGil ,

since some time SAP Datasphere offers the so called "Space Mapping" option during content import (find more details here under 4/Content).
This option helps you to easier extend the content:

• Import the content at least twice: once into the "standard" SAP_CONTENT space and once in another Space (YOUR Space) that you planned to use to extend the content and use the content productively
• With this setup you can always import any update of a content package into the SAP_CONTENT space w/o harming any productively used and extend content.
• Decide on-demand if and which update you might want to consume in YOUR space.
• The Space Mapping option is also available for any package in the Content Network - to support flexible transport scenarios.

this option is like making a copy of the business content, just like in BW, so it works perfectly for us.
