I have recently upgraded my system to SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and I would like to create a custom metric (in System Monitoring) that monitors the number of certificates that have been expired within the past 14 days or will expired during the next 15 days.
I came across with the wiki below that explains how to do this in SAP Solution Manager 7.1:
https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/3IzzEg
Is this procedure also valid for SAP Solution Manager 7.2?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
Just to let you know (if you do not know already), there is a standard System monitoring metric under Technical System monitoring templates for ABAP, to monitor certificates that will expire in next 30 days. This is valid for 7.2 as well.

Hi Jose,
Please check the sap note 2507235 - How to configure Expiring Certificates metrics in System Monitoring.

Is there a similar metric for HANA Analytics?
I am interested in getting a metric, if there is, that could report on
sec> sapgenpse get_my_name -p SAPSSLS.pse

with PSE file "/usr/sap/AHD/HDB00/use1ahddb01/sec/SAPSSLS.pse"

We see the 2 Metrics below:-->HANA DB MEtrics from Solution Monitoring:Own Certificate Expiration Date HDB_OWN _CERT_EXP_DATE_ALERT_130Trusted Certificate Expiration DateHDB_TRUSTED_CERT_EXP_DATE_ALERT_129but it seems that those 2 are not related to the results from the sapgenpse command.Any help? Thanks,JoseYou must be a registered user to add a comment.
