Executing a tranport work item programmatically

Hi Team,

We have configured the SAP transport import/approvals through workflows in the solution manager system( which is the workflow engine).

The developers create a transport in Dev system and after releasing it create a transport proposal ( TP) number which is a workflow . This TP goes to workflow engine system in solman and sits in the developers sap inbox. A program is executed and it send the TP workflow to the basis team sap inbox. Basis executes the TP workflow which prompts to login to target system and then imports the transport in the target system in the backend. After this the TP goes out from the BASIS sap inbox to the developer inbox in Solman.

Now my question is can the process of BASIS team manually executing the transport through sap inbox be automated in the system. Because basis has to manually execute as many number of TP for SAP transports. This is an overhead and I don't find any solution for this.

This would not be a single step approve decision because we manually execute the TP workflow it prompt to do some selection and enter logon details to SAP system and the transport is imported in the background.

Hi ,

I am not sure but you can try to make use of change document or try to implement the inbox filter badi where you should filter the task and auto approve the decision steps by using SAP_WAPI_* function module.
